Chemistry Major Advising(Frosh)
If you are a lower division (Less than 60 Earned Units) student declared in Chemistry major (BS Chemistry, BS Biochemistry, BA Chemistry), you will receive major advising from the College of Science Student Success Center.
Students declared a Chemistry Major with less than 60 units earned (Freshmen and Sophomores) refer to the College of Science Advising Canvas Course for Frosh (for students with less than 60 earned units) for advising appointment information.

General Education (GE) Advising
All students (Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors) declared in a College of Science major will receive general education advising in the College of Science Student Success Center.

Applying for a Chemistry Minor
- Chemistry Minor for Biological Sciences majors do not need to to complete an application. Contact your major advisor regarding required chemistry minor courses for biology majors.
- Chemistry Minor Form for NON-Biological Sciences major only - You may schedule a Minor Advising appointment with Dr. Jamie Alea or request a minor application.
